With us, you can experience nature, art, and knowledge. We offer guided tours of the national park exhibition, visits to the Adde Zetterquist Art Gallery, and various programs that can be combined with a coffee break around the fire in the courtyard.
We accommodate kindergartens, school classes, and groups, and we are happy to tailor programs for companies, organizations, or private events. Together with our partners in Saltdal, we can also offer larger experiences including food and accommodation.

Stay overnight at Nystadnesstua
Nystadnesstua is a log house from around 1890, rebuilt at Nordland National Park Center and opened in 2007. The house, together with the turf huts, is an important part of our storytelling about settlement and life in the national parks – offering an authentic meeting with the region’s cultural history.
Nystadnesstua is part of the Bodø and Surroundings Trekking Association’s trail network, with marked routes towards the Sulitjelma mountains in the northeast and Saltfjellet in the southwest.
Nystadnesstua must be booked in advance through us.
